1. English Version
Introduction
SimpleBible ("we," "our," or "the App") respects your privacy. The App has no account or login and does not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number. The App does not request location permission.
Information Stored On Your Device Only
- Bible Content: All scripture text (Korean Revised Version and KJV, Public Domain) is bundled with the App and stored on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers.
- Reading Position & Settings: Your last read chapter, font size, and display preferences are stored locally to support the resume-reading feature.
Information Collected by Third-Party Services
- Usage Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase): The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve our service. It automatically collects an app instance ID and usage events such as screen views, which book and chapter are opened, text-to-speech start/stop, verse sharing or copying, setting changes, and ad displays. For search, only the length of the query and the number of results are recorded — the search text itself is not collected. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information through analytics.
- Advertising (Google AdMob): The App shows ads served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID and approximate location (derived from your IP address) to serve and measure ads. The App itself does not request device location permission.
- Google Play In-App Review: If you choose to leave a review, the review flow is handled by Google Play.
Text-to-Speech (Audio Playback)
The App can read scripture aloud using the text-to-speech engine installed on your device. Playback runs as a foreground service so it can continue with the screen off, which is why the App declares foreground-service and wake-lock permissions. No audio is recorded and the microphone is not used.

Data Retention
We do not store personal identification information. Analytics data is retained according to Google's data retention policy and is automatically deleted afterwards. Uninstalling the App immediately stops all further data collection and removes locally stored data.

- Reset or delete your advertising ID: Device Settings → Google → Ads
- Opt out of personalized ads via your device's ad personalization settings
- Request deletion of collected analytics data by contacting us below
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

개요
한영심플성경(SimpleBible, 이하 "앱")은 사용자의 개인정보를 소중히 여기며, 관련 법령을 준수합니다. 본 앱은 회원가입·로그인 기능이 없으며, 이름·이메일·전화번호 등 사용자를 직접 식별하는 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 또한 위치 권한을 요청하지 않습니다.
기기 내부에만 저장되는 정보
- 성경 본문: 모든 성경 본문(개역한글 및 KJV, 퍼블릭 도메인)은 앱에 포함되어 기기에 저장되며, 외부 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.
- 읽던 위치 및 설정: 마지막으로 읽은 장, 글자 크기, 표시 설정 등은 이어 읽기 기능을 위해 기기 내부에만 저장됩니다.
제3자 서비스를 통해 수집되는 정보
- 사용 통계 (Google Analytics for Firebase): 앱 이용 현황을 파악하고 서비스를 개선하기 위해 Google Analytics for Firebase를 사용합니다. 이를 통해 앱 인스턴스 ID와 화면 조회, 어떤 성경·장을 열었는지, 음성 낭독 시작·정지, 구절 공유·복사, 설정 변경, 광고 노출 등의 이벤트가 자동으로 수집됩니다. 검색의 경우 입력 길이와 결과 건수만 기록되며 검색어 자체는 수집하지 않습니다. 이름·이메일 등 사용자를 직접 식별할 수 있는 정보는 수집하지 않습니다.
- 광고 (Google AdMob): 앱은 Google AdMob 광고를 표시하며, 광고 송출 및 성과 측정을 위해 기기의 광고 ID(ADID)와 대략적인 위치(IP 주소 기반)가 사용될 수 있습니다. 앱 자체는 기기 위치 권한을 요청하지 않습니다.
- Google Play 인앱 리뷰: 리뷰를 남기시는 경우 해당 절차는 Google Play가 처리합니다.
음성 낭독(TTS) 기능
앱은 기기에 설치된 음성 합성(TTS) 엔진을 이용해 본문을 읽어줄 수 있습니다. 화면이 꺼진 상태에서도 재생이 이어지도록 포그라운드 서비스로 동작하며, 이 때문에 포그라운드 서비스·화면 깨우기 권한을 선언합니다. 음성을 녹음하지 않으며 마이크를 사용하지 않습니다.
제3자 서비스 및 국외 이전
아래 Google 서비스를 통해 수집된 정보는 Google LLC(미국 소재)가 운영하는 서버에서 처리·보관될 수 있습니다.
그 외 제3자에게 정보를 판매하거나 제공하지 않습니다.

데이터 보유 기간 및 파기
본 앱은 사용자를 식별할 수 있는 개인정보를 직접 저장하지 않습니다. 자동 수집된 통계 정보는 Google의 데이터 보관 정책에 따라 보관 후 자동 파기됩니다. 앱을 삭제하면 이후 새로운 정보 수집이 즉시 중단되고 기기에 저장된 데이터도 함께 삭제됩니다.
이용자의 권리
- 광고 식별자 재설정·삭제: 기기 설정 → Google → 광고
- 맞춤 광고 수신 거부: 기기 설정의 광고 개인 최적화 옵션
- 수집된 분석 데이터의 삭제 요청: 아래 문의처로 요청 시 지체 없이 처리
아동의 개인정보
본 앱은 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.
