Introduction
Yesterday Weather Compare ("we," "our," or "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information Collection and Use
- Location Data: To provide accurate weather comparisons and outdoor guides based on your current position, the App may request access to your device's location. This data is processed in real-time to fetch weather information and is not stored permanently on our servers.
- Device Information: We may collect non-personal information such as device model and OS version to improve App performance and fix bugs.
- Usage Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase): The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve our service. This service automatically collects an app instance ID and usage events such as screen views and feature usage (e.g., weather refresh, city search, yesterday–today comparison). We do not collect your search keywords, name, email address, or any other directly identifying information through analytics.
- Advertising Identifier (Google AdMob): The App shows ads served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID to serve and measure ads.

The App uses third-party weather APIs and the following Google services. Data collected by these services is processed by Google LLC (located in the United States) under its own privacy policy:
Data Retention
We do not store personal identification information. Location data is used only for the duration of the weather request. Analytics data is retained according to Google's data retention policy and is automatically deleted afterwards. Uninstalling the App immediately stops all further data collection.
Your Choices
- Reset or delete your advertising ID: Device Settings → Google → Ads
- Opt out of personalized ads via your device's ad personalization settings

The App is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
