1. English Version

Introduction

EvidSnap ("we," "our," or "the App") is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your photos or personal information. The App has no account or login.

Information Stored On Your Device Only

Data	Purpose & storage
Photos you take	Saved with a timestamp/location overlay to `DCIM/EvidSnap/` on your device. Never uploaded.
Location (precise/approximate)	Used to draw address, coordinates, altitude and weather onto the overlay. Stored only inside the photo you take.
Compass / orientation	Used to draw the direction (N/E/S/W). Not stored.
Gallery photos	Read in place to list photos EvidSnap saved. Not copied or uploaded.
Overlay settings	Template and item toggles, stored locally.

Information Collected by Third-Party Services

Usage Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase): The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve our service. It automatically collects an app instance ID and usage events such as screen views, capture events, which overlay items are enabled (e.g., whether coordinates are shown), sharing and deletion actions, and permission outcomes. The contents of the overlay are never collected — no coordinates, address text, or your custom text is included in analytics. Only whether a setting is on or off is recorded.
Advertising (Google AdMob): The App shows ads served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID and approximate location (derived from your IP address) to serve and measure ads.
Weather (Open-Meteo): When the weather overlay is enabled, the App sends coordinates only to the Open-Meteo API to retrieve current weather. No identifying information is sent. See Open-Meteo terms.
Address lookup (Android Geocoder): Coordinates are converted to a readable address using the operating system's on-device service.

Third-Party Services & International Transfer

Data collected by the following Google services is processed by Google LLC (located in the United States) under its own privacy policy:

We do not sell or share your information with any other third parties.

Permissions Used

Denying a permission disables only the related feature — for example, refusing location removes the location overlay while the camera still works.

Data Retention and Deletion

Photos remain in DCIM/EvidSnap/ even after you uninstall the App. Delete them from the in-app gallery or your device's photo manager at any time.
We do not store any of your photos or location data on our servers.
Analytics data is retained according to Google's data retention policy and is automatically deleted afterwards.

Your Choices

Reset or delete your advertising ID: Device Settings → Google → Ads
Opt out of personalized ads via your device's ad personalization settings
Revoke camera, location or photo permission in device settings at any time
Request deletion of collected analytics data by contacting us below

Security

Because data stays on your device, its security depends on your device's security. We recommend using a screen lock and keeping your operating system up to date.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

개요

EvidSnap(이하 "앱")은 사용자의 데이터가 기기 내부에 남도록 설계되어 있습니다. 운영자는 사진이나 개인정보를 저장하는 서버를 운영하지 않으며, 앱에는 회원가입·로그인 기능이 없습니다.

기기 내부에만 저장되는 정보

데이터	사용 목적 및 저장 위치
촬영한 사진	시각·위치 오버레이가 합성되어 기기의 `DCIM/EvidSnap/` 폴더에 저장됩니다. 외부로 업로드되지 않습니다.
위치 정보(정확/대략)	주소·좌표·고도·날씨를 오버레이에 표시하는 데 사용되며, 촬영한 사진 안에만 남습니다.
나침반·방향 센서	방위(N/E/S/W) 표시에 사용되며 저장하지 않습니다.
갤러리 사진	EvidSnap이 저장한 사진 목록을 보여주기 위해 원본 위치에서 읽기만 합니다. 복사·업로드하지 않습니다.
오버레이 설정	템플릿과 항목 on/off 설정이 기기 내부에 저장됩니다.

제3자 서비스를 통해 수집되는 정보

사용 통계 (Google Analytics for Firebase): 앱 이용 현황을 파악하고 서비스를 개선하기 위해 Google Analytics for Firebase를 사용합니다. 이를 통해 앱 인스턴스 ID와 화면 조회, 촬영 이벤트, 어떤 오버레이 항목을 켜고 촬영했는지(예: 좌표 표시 여부), 공유·삭제, 권한 허용 결과 등이 자동으로 수집됩니다. 오버레이에 찍히는 내용 자체는 수집하지 않습니다 — 좌표, 주소 문자열, 사용자가 입력한 문구는 분석 데이터에 포함되지 않으며, 해당 설정을 켰는지 여부만 기록됩니다.
광고 (Google AdMob): 앱은 Google AdMob 광고를 표시하며, 광고 송출 및 성과 측정을 위해 기기의 광고 ID(ADID)와 대략적인 위치(IP 주소 기반)가 사용될 수 있습니다.
날씨 (Open-Meteo): 날씨 오버레이를 사용하는 경우 현재 날씨 조회를 위해 좌표만 Open-Meteo API로 전송됩니다. 개인을 식별할 수 있는 정보는 전송되지 않습니다. Open-Meteo 약관
주소 변환 (Android Geocoder): 좌표를 사람이 읽을 수 있는 주소로 바꾸는 작업은 운영체제가 제공하는 기능을 단말 내에서 사용합니다.

제3자 서비스 및 국외 이전

아래 Google 서비스를 통해 수집된 정보는 Google LLC(미국 소재)가 운영하는 서버에서 처리·보관될 수 있습니다.

앱 접근 권한

권한을 거부하시면 해당 기능만 비활성화됩니다. 예를 들어 위치를 거부하면 위치 오버레이만 표시되지 않고 촬영 기능은 정상 동작합니다.

데이터 보유 기간 및 파기

사진은 DCIM/EvidSnap/에 저장되며 앱을 삭제해도 남습니다. 앱 내 갤러리나 기기의 사진 관리 앱에서 언제든 삭제하실 수 있습니다.
운영자 서버에는 사용자의 사진이나 위치 데이터가 저장되지 않습니다.
자동 수집된 통계 정보는 Google의 데이터 보관 정책에 따라 보관 후 자동 파기됩니다.

맞춤 광고 수신 거부: 기기 설정의 광고 개인 최적화 옵션

보안

데이터가 기기에만 저장되므로 보안은 기기의 보안 상태에 의존합니다. 화면 잠금 설정과 운영체제 최신화를 권장합니다.

아동의 개인정보

본 앱은 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.
